The European Ceramic Society
2024 ECerS International Ceramist Student Exchange Program
The purpose of this grant awarded by ECerS with the financial support of the JECS Trust is to help 30 European students to participate in events (schools, conferences, workshops, etc.) organised by other Ceramic Societies from all around the world with whom ECerS collaborates.
The 2024 Exchange Program will then allow European Students to participate to events organised by:
- The American Ceramic Society,
- The Chinese Ceramic Society,
- The Indian Ceramic Society,
- The Japanese Ceramic Society,
- The Korean Ceramic Society.
Following contacts taken with other Ceramics Societies, the call could be enlarged to events organised by other Ceramic Societies such as Brazil and Australia.
A Grant of 1.200 € will be awarded to 30 selected students to attend events organised in 2024.
CALLS:
- First call was launched in September 2023 to attend the 2024 IGNITE MSE and 48th ICACC conference that will be organised by the American Ceramic Society from 28th January to 2nd February 2024 in Daytona Beach, USA.
- Second call was launched in April 2024 to attend the 1st Brazilian Meeting on Ceramic Additive Manufacturing (CeramicAM Brasil) that will be organised by the University of São Paulo in collaboration with the Brazilian Ceramic Society from 19th to 20th September 2024.
- Third call was launched in June 2024 to attend the 2024 Fall meeting of Korean Ceramic Society (COEX) that will be organised by the Korean Ceramic Society in Seoul, Korea, from 16th to 18th October 2024.
- Fourth call was launched in August 2024 to attend the 88th Annual Session of the Indian Ceramics Society and International Conference in Advanced Ceramics for Sustainability which will be organised by the Indian Ceramic Society, from 28th to 30th November 2024.
