Platinum Internship Programme at CGCRI!
As a part of the platinum jubilee celebration, CSIR-CGCRI is proud to announce the ‘PLATINUM Internship Award’ to invite young undergraduates to gain from the knowledge and experience of accomplished scientists by working at CSIR-CGCRI and to inspire them to pursue S&T as a career. This is meant to be a preparatory phase for young interns to imbibe the spirit of inquiry and learn the tools and techniques of research during their stay at CSIR-CGCRI.
Since its inception on Aug 26, 1950, CSIR-CGCRI has been serving our nation in developing cutting-edge technologies in the areas of conventional (refractory, whiteware) to most advanced application areas, including healthcare, energy, etc. Importantly, CSIR-CGCRI has contributed significantly to the strategic sector as well as societally relevant applications (e.g. ceramic membrane for water filtration). CSIR-CGCRI is one of the first four national labs in the family of CSIR, recognised as an innovation engine of India.
Eligibility: Students pursuing BE/B. Tech in the Department of Ceramic Engineering only (3rd year/4th Year), having secured a minimum 8.0 CGPA or 80% marks up to the last semester.
Number: Ten (Max)
Duration:10 weeks ( between May 1- July 31, 2025)
Fellowship: ₹15,000 per month
Accommodation: The Institute will provide free accommodation.
Application procedure:
- Duly filled-in application with all documents related to academic qualification should be emailed to hrg@cgcri.res.in
- Endorsement Letter of the Head of the Division/ Principal/ Registrar /Head of the Institution/University on the INSTITUTE’s letterhead, mentioning the training programme being applied for and the date & period of the proposed training
