Dr. Sue-Ching Jou is a Research Fellow at the Research Center for Environmental Changes, Academia Sinica, and Chief Advisor to Taiwan’s Science and Technology Office for Net Zero Emissions.
The presentation will examine how government ministries, research organizations, industry representatives, experts, and societal stakeholders cooperate to connect technological priorities with regulatory, industrial, infrastructural, and societal conditions. Particular attention will be given to a governance approach based on continuous coordination, institutional learning, evaluation, and adaptive policy cycles. The webinar will therefore address a central question of sustainability transitions: how can scientific and technological innovation be embedded in long-term political and institutional processes?
